Starting a New Blog at 40 Feels Like Shouting Into the Void

So here we are shouting into the void… Hey void 👋.

Here’s the truth: at this stage in life, I thought I’d be polished, put together, and maybe even wise. Instead? I’m winging it harder than ever. I don’t have a five-step plan to inner peace. Honestly, some days I can barely find my keys.

But what I do have are stories that are too wild to stay in my Notes app, too messy for Instagram highlights, and too real to keep bottled up.

Why We’re Here

Highly Relatable isn’t about pretending life is perfect. It’s about putting it all on the table—the honest AF reflections, the travel hacks and music adventures, and the awkward, hilarious parts of redefining life at 40.

Because let’s be real: the middle of life is weird. It’s the part where you’re still figuring things out, but you’re also old enough to know better (and still do the ridiculous thing anyway). It’s messy, funny, sometimes heavy, but always human.

What You Can Expect

If you stick around, you’re going to get:

  • Honest AF reflections that don’t come wrapped in self-help clichĂ©s.
  • Travel hacks + music adventures (because concerts and cruises are my not-so-guilty pleasures).
  • The awkward, hilarious parts of navigating a new alcohol-free lifestyle.

Basically: a hot mess you can probably relate to.

What’s Next

Next time, I’ll tell you how I managed to survive my first Dead and Co show alcohol-free without feeling like the only weirdo in the crowd. Spoiler: I wasn’t alone, and the music helped more than anything in my old red solo cup ever did.  Also, here’s my fav Cali-Sober bevey. Wynk

Until then, reach out, message me and tell me your most relatable hot-mess moment. Follow along—because this ride’s gonna get weirder, louder, and way more relatable.
